OUR LEGAL PRACTICE
Over the years, BT attorneys have developed a high level of expertise in matters involving insurance coverage issues. We represent clients in all regions of the country and abroad. We render advice on coverage issues, claims handling practices, insurance fraud, rescission, and bad faith liability. BT is routinely retained to litigate declaratory relief, breach of contract and bad faith actions.

Many BT attorneys have experience handling a wide range of commercial litigation matters including breach of contract, fraud, real estate, intellectual property (trademarks and copyrights) and commercial torts. We have represented every size of business ranging from the sole business proprietor to large international corporations and have handled cases varying from local disputes to international corporate matters.

In addition, BT has a thriving practice as defense counsel for commercial insureds covered under professional liability insurance policies, employment practices liability policies, and general liability policies. Our defense practice includes the representation of employers for claims of discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination, and the representation of professionals including attorneys, real estate brokers and developers, industrial hygienists, insurance retail agents, as well as wholesale, excess and surplus lines insurance brokers. BT represents a broad range of business and commercial enterprises in personal injury matters including the representation of the manufacturers and distributors of asbestos and various manufacturers and distributors of industrial machinery.
