About Us

Mr. Lipshultz maintains his own consulting practice providing litigation support and consulting services for the legal profession as well as insurance agents and insurers. He has served as an expert witness in disputes involving insurance agents and brokers errors and omissions, insurance agent standard of care, claims handling, bad faith, coverage issues and related customs and practices in the insurance industry. Mr. Lipshultz is also an insurance instructor and teaches courses in Errors & Omissions, Insurance Ethics, Certificates of Insurance and Professional Liability.

Qualifications

Mr. Lipshultz began his career in the insurance industry in 1968. He has served as a consultant and expert witness since 1995 and began his own consulting practice in 1999. He has extensive deposition and trial experience. He served as a consultant to the Maryland Insurance Administration from 2004 through 2008. He is a licensed insurance agent in Maryland for Property, Casualty and Automobile. Mr. Lipshultz has published numerous articles in the field of insurance and related legal issues.

High Profile Cases

Mr. Lipshultz testified as an expert witness on behalf of Wakefern Food Corp. in the case of Wakefern Food Corp., et al v. The Associated Agencies, and BWD Group, LLC, et al., Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex County, Law Division, Docket No.: MID-L-6483-13 on August 10, 2018. The jury returned a verdict on behalf of Wakefern for $15.4 million.
