Report Description: The Laundromats report helps readers assess the insurance needs of public facilities that offer self-service laundry and dryer machines, and sometimes dry cleaning equipment for customer use on the premises. In some cases, the business might also perform dry cleaning or provide drop-off laundry service. Property is the line of insurance coverage that carries the highest degree of exposure. Special exposures include the chance of dryer fires and a heavy fire load that includes patrons' clothing and possibly other textiles, flammable packaging materials and solvents (if the insured performs dry-cleaning services on the premises).
