As early as Thursday, snow fell in the Plains states of Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas. Through Friday and early Saturday, the South and Ohio Valley were impacted with snowfall ranging from 2 inches in parts of Mississippi to 22 inches in eastern Kentucky. As Jonas reached the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, the snow could be measured in feet and blizzard conditions were verified in five locations in Southeastern New England.
