GIC Re's Vaidyan: African Acquisition, Other Expansion Fuels Growth

Alice Vaidyan, general manager of GIC Re, said the India-based reinsurer expects to grow to top-10 levels by tapping expanding markets in Africa and other regions. Vaidyan was interviewed at the East Asian Insurance Congress.
