IMAC's Haddleton: Many Cayman Captives Taxed as US Companies

Linda Haddleton, vice chair, Insurance Managers Association of Cayman, said a large number of captive insurance companies domiciled in the Cayman Islands have elected 953(d) status, which means they are taxed as U.S. insurance companies.
