A.M. Best has released enhancements to the BestLink® online platform to fully integrate recent Best’s Credit Rating Methodology updates into Best’s Insurance Reports® and A.M. Best’s Financial Suite, including Best’s Statement File – Global. Additional changes to BestLink will allow customers of these products to maximize their search results and company lists through a new interactive tool, as well as perform more streamlined searches for targeted results.
The BestLink platform has integrated the updated criteria for Best’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR), displaying scores at four confidence intervals for rating units evaluated according to the recently released methodology. A redesigned format has been introduced for Best’s Credit Reports as well, to reflect the increased transparency of the rating process, making it easier and faster to get a clear picture of the factors that impact a company’s financial strength.
BestLink also now offers an interactive results page that gives customers increased flexibility in analyzing search results and company lists, featuring Best’s Credit Ratings, key financial data and selected company attributes. Search functions have also been enhanced for increased speed and precision. Best’s Issue Credit Ratings, along with brief profiles on each issue, are now included for applicable companies.
