A.M. Best Co. will be represented on a panel, "Credit Issues for Insurance Companies and Financial Institutions," as well as exhibiting in the main hall at the Institute of International Research's (IIR) 19th Annual Stable Value Symposium. The symposium is being held April 11-13 at the Sheraton Bal Harbour in Bal Harbour, FL.
Andrew S. Edelsberg, Managing Senior Financial Analyst, will be representing A.M. Best on the industry panel. Mr. Edelsberg's presentation will focus on the structure and rating considerations of funding agreement-backed securities (FABS) programs, which are utilized by several large life insurance companies to participate in the institutional investment markets for spread-based products.
