AM Best will participate in the Insurance Regulatory Examiners Society’s 2019 Career Development Seminar, which takes place Aug. 18-21, 2019, in Spokane, WA.
Edin Imsirovic, senior financial analyst, will join a session called “Big Data — Is Big Data the Future of Underwriting?” on Monday, Aug. 19, at 3:45 pm (PDT). Imsirovic will talk about recent developments regarding insurtech, as well as look at how insurance companies are using large amounts of data to improve their underwriting methodologies. Imsirovic is part of AM Best’s property/casualty ratings division, with specializations in insurtech and emerging technologies, and is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the ratings of various U.S. property/casualty insurance companies.
