FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OLDWICK - SEPTEMBER 08, 2014 12:34 PM (EDT)
September is Life Insurance Awareness Month, and throughout the month, A.M.BestTV will look at the life insurance industry by hearing from life insurance executives, association leaders and A.M. Best analysts on the opportunities and challenges facing the industry.

Beginning with this episode, A.M.BestTV interviewed sports great Boomer Esiason, broadcaster at the CBS Sports Network, who discussed events in his early life that led him to a new appreciation for the need for adequate life insurance protection.

Esiason's mother passed away (without having life insurance) when he was seven years old, leaving his father to raise his two sisters and himself, alone. Due to this experience, Esiason knows the importance of having life insurance, but he also acknowledges, "That it is a struggle to convince more people of the need to protect their family's financial assets through the purchase of life insurance." Esiason continued, "We have to always prepare for the unknown, and I strongly believe that is what life insurance does for us."
