AM Best Director Brian O’Larte will give a presentation on Puerto Rico’s insurance market at the Puerto Rico Society of CPA’s annual insurance industry forum, taking place May 3, 2019, at the San Juan Marriott Resort in Puerto Rico.
O’Larte’s session, titled, “AM Best’s Perspective of Puerto Rico’s Market,” will take place May 3 at 10:50 a.m. (AST). The conference will examine the role of the insurance industry in the wake of hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017 and include a prospective look at preventative measures going forward.
O’Larte is responsible for managing a team of rating analysts, as well as the rating and analysis of a diversified portfolio of domestic property/casualty insurance companies followed by AM Best, which includes Puerto Rico. In addition, he also researches emerging trends within the property/casualty industry.
