A.M. Best will host a webinar in which A.M. Best analysts will examine how they evaluate mortgage risk covered by reinsurers on Tuesday, March 20, at 11 a.m. (EDT). The webinar will be based on a new criteria procedure, “Evaluating Mortgage Insurance,” published by A.M. Best on February 28, 2018.
A.M. Best analysts will focus on the risk charges associated with mortgage risks ceded to reinsurers by private mortgage insurers and the two government-sponsored enterprises—Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae—and on the elements of Best’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR) that apply to mortgage risk.
