FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OLDWICK - OCTOBER 08, 2014 12:14 PM (EDT)
This A.M.BestTV episode examines how insurers are covering aid efforts in the ongoing Ebola outbreak as responders face hurdles.

Logan Payne, a senior account manager at Lockton Global, discusses the insurance considerations surrounding the outbreak. "Lockton Global is receiving a number of questions from our clients concerning their personnel risks and loss of revenue, due to this terrible outbreak," said Payne. "And while this outbreak has not stopped carriers from offering coverage to transport employees back to their respective countries, logistically it has become quite a problem."

This global risk roundup also looks at other recent large-scale events that will likely have some impact on insurers, including earthquakes in China and the United States, as well as severe storms in the United States.
