A.M. Best Senior Managing Director to Address Latin America Insurance Conference

Oldwick //BestWire// - A.M. Best Senior Managing Director Andrea Keenan will deliver the opening remarks at the Latin America Consultative Forum, an event that will bring together dozens of insurance industry regulators and executives on Oct. 24, 2018, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the Madero Walk.
The 14th Consultative Forum will focus on “Digital Financial Inclusion” and be hosted jointly by the Microinsurance Network, the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), the Association of Insurance Supervisors of Latin America (ASSAL), the Superintendencia de Seguros de la Nación (SSN) and the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii).
In addition to opening the conference, Keenan will moderate a panel session, titled, “Regulator-Led Innovation Activities,” which will take place at 3:30 p.m. local time and highlight how insurtech activities are being regulated in different countries and regions. Keenan heads up industry relations for A.M. Best and oversees its relationships and communications with insurance and financial service industries throughout the Americas, including the United States, Latin America, Canada and the Caribbean. She also serves as vice chair of Microinsurance Network’s board of directors.
