A.M. Best Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Matt Mosher will speak at the 2016 National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) Annual Convention, to be held September 25–28 at the Vancouver Convention Centre in British Columbia, CAN.
Mr. Mosher will provide an A.M. Best Methodology Update on Tuesday, September 27, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (PDT). Over the past year, A.M. Best has been working to update the Best’s Credit Rating Methodology (BCRM), including the Best’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR), an important consideration in A.M. Best’s rating analysis and assessment of a company’s capitalization. Mr. Mosher will discuss all the planned changes and their anticipated impact, as well as public comments received to date.
A.M. Best will also host a cocktail reception on Tuesday, September 27, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (PDT) in rooms 205 and 206 on level two of the Vancouver Convention Centre West. Guests are encouraged to RSVP by email to stacey.ancker@ambest.com.
