FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

OLDWICK - AUGUST 23, 2016 12:10 PM (EDT)
A.M. Best will present a webinar, “Inside Today’s Surplus Lines Market,” on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, starting at 2:00 p.m. (EDT). Register at no charge at http://www.ambest.com/webinars/es16.

Since 1994, the Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation has provided a grant to A.M. Best to produce a detailed report on the excess and surplus lines insurance sector, which provides coverage for risks the standard insurance market is unwilling or unable to insure. The report updates the relative positions of carriers in the market and examines regulatory developments, distribution, solvency, availability and coverage.

During this webinar, a panel of industry leaders in the surplus lines sector of the U.S. insurance market will review the market and highlights of the newest report. Panelists for this webinar include:

  • Richard Taute, executive vice president, national branch executive, Lexington Insurance Company; American International Group, Inc. (AIG) Property/Casualty;

  • Maureen Caviston, president & chief operating officer, Partners Specialty Group;

  • Scott Barraclough, president & chief executive officer, Admiral Insurance Group;

  • Gil Hine, President, McClelland and Hine, Inc.; and

  • Brady Kelley, executive director, NAPSLO.

This webinar is sponsored by Lexington Insurance Company (Member of AIG) and the Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation.

Attendees can submit questions during registration or by emailing webinars@ambest.com. Viewers may also follow @AMBestCo on Twitter for live tweets from the webinar using the hashtag #SurplusLines16.
