MetLife Appoints Global Head of Reinsurance,

Names Chief Auditor

etLife Inc. named Toby Srihiran Brown as global head

of reinsurance and appointed Rob Dill to succeed

Brown as chief auditor.

Brown will develop and

maintain a comprehensive

reinsurance strategy

for the company,

overseeing the end-to-

end reinsurance process,

including deal origination,

structuring, negotiation,

execution, and ongoing

monitoring and reporting,

the company said.

Before serving as chief

auditor, Brown was chief

operating officer of MetLife Japan. He was appointed

to that position in 2016. He joined MetLife in 2010 with

the company’s acquisition of Alico from American

International Group and became regional chief financial

officer of MetLife Asia in 2011, according to a company

statement.

Dill previously served as chief financial officer for

the Latin America region. He will have a direct and

independent reporting relationship with the audit

committee of the MetLife Inc. board of directors, the

company said.

Prior to his role as CFO for Latin America, Dill was

U.S. controller and has held a variety of leadership roles

in the controller function in his nearly 24 years with the

company, according to a company statement.

Additionally, Everest

announced it has appointed

a leadership team

dedicated to cultivating

Shaw have been named

leads. Nicole Mazer has

Everest hired Brian Zink to succeed Clark as senior vice

president, head of Everest specialty underwriters and

U.S. financial lines. Zink will lead the strategic direction

of both portfolios and will report to Bill Hazelton, who

was appointed to succeed Mike Mulray as executive vice

president of Everest Insurance and president of North

America insurance, the company said.

Mulray left the company after nine years of service

to pursue other opportunities, the company said in a

statement.

Hazelton most recently served as head of U.S. retail

casualty and industry practices for Everest Insurance.

Prior to Everest, Hazelton spent 30 years in various

leadership roles across underwriting, claims and

distribution at large insurance organizations including

Chubb, where he was head of North America industry

practices and head of North America claims, according to

a company statement.

Zink joins Everest from Zurich, where he was head of

financial lines forthe company’s U.S. national accounts,

also serving in various leadership roles including head
