We successfully defended the organizers of a go-kart race on no liability against a claim of quadriplegia/tetraplegia. A go-kart operated by a child left the track and struck the mother of another operator. The court granted our motion for summary judgment and this was affirmed on appeal.

We successfully defended the owner of a private lake on no liability following a diving accident. A guest suffered a severe spinal injury, which allegedly became worse after medical malpractice, rendering the plaintiff a completely disabled quadriplegic/tetraplegic. The court granted our motion for summary judgment, and this was affirmed on appeal.

D.G. v. Boardman Local Schools, N.D.Ohio No. 4:11-cv-01174. We successfully defended a pre-teen girl and her parents against allegations of school bullying and cyberbullying. The case drew national media attention including CBS News' 48 Hours show, the Dr. Phil show, and a made-for-tv movie. We maintained a no liability defense and eventually the plaintiff voluntarily dismissed the case against our client, with prejudice, with no payment.
